Lynda Logan
I try to capture the essence of light and memories of childhood in my paintings.
Working in galleries for over 30 years, my interest in the arts inspired me to put "oil to canvas" which has resulted in what you see today.
My paintings of children result from observing my four grandchildren at play with their friends.
Animals, flowers and landscape are also part of my repertoire.
My work is currently on show at Chantry House Gallery nr. Harrogate and at the Upstairs Gallery, Grassington Nr. Skipton, and is represented in Canada, U.S.A. and on the continent.
My claim to fame is that I am one of those Women's Institute "Calendar Girls" (the naked ones) who raise money for Leukaemia Research. My photograph was taken at my easel painting.
